Spring Family Conference 2010
"Going For The Gold" | April 16-18, 2010

The concept of investment blankets scripture. The Apostles Paul, Peter, James and John write about it frequently in their letters to the first century church. In His parables, Jesus speaks about accountability to the roles and resources we've been given.

One day, Christ will return, and every believer will stand before God and give account for what they did with the time, talents, and treasure with which they were entrusted.

We are exhorted in scripture to work out our salvation with "fear and trembling," meaning each believer should take very serious analysis as to whether they have put their full faith in the work of Jesus, not in their own ability to be "religious" or perform for God's approval.

The standing of each believer before God the Father is as one "clothed in Christ," "hidden in Christ" and a "new creation." In short, it's about what we allow Him to do through us. Not what we do to earn His grace.

An open forum focusing on the Judgment Seat of Christ is scheduled after lunch on Saturday. You're invited to submit questions to btcwausau@juno.com.
